BLOG: MaKeSi Elite Party

If we asked you to name places with iconic car scenes, you’d probably say Japan, Europe, or America. 

But there’s one car scene that’s been quietly booming behind the scenes that you might not know about – China. 

In China, the scene is ruled by shows called Elite Parties that give enthusiasts a platform to show off their builds and earn exclusive opportunities for individual promotion. 

In November, Air Lit Performance co-hosted the MaKeSi Elite Party in the Guangdong province at the Zhuhai International Air Show Center. Since 2017, this has been China’s largest indoor tuning car party and show, organized by Ma Ke Si. 

The party featured more than 320 cars – 250 of those slammed on Air Lift Performance – and attracted more than 26,000 eager show-goers from more than 10 different provinces all across China. 

With Air Lift Performance as a sponsor, drivers got the opportunity to show off their builds in a pretty cool way – an Air Lift Performance container. 

On day one of the epic show, driver’s with Air Lift Performance-equipped cars got the exclusive chance to compete in a unique cross-rod competition – think Limbo, but for your car. 

If you passed the test, you got the chance to drive your car into a branded, see-thru container, then have it scored as part of the tuning competition, with the chance to win prizes up to 40,000 RMB (That’s nearly $6,000 US!).

And on day two? Day two opened the Air Lift Performance container to any remaining Air LIft Performance users who wanted to get pictures, allowed the crowds of attendees to browse the booths of more than 70 dealers, and hosted talent shows for singing, dancing, and b-boxing. 

Overall, it was a weekend full of crazy cool cars and we can’t wait for more!
